Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants And Physical Therapy Assistants
Certified Occupational and Physical Therapy Assistants receive an associate degree from an accredited school. The assistants are allowed to conduct some PT and OT tasks; however they are not allowed to conduct the initial evaluation. Therapy aides assist professional staff by visiting clients, preparing written and verbal reports and helping with personal care that clients or caretakers may not be able to attend to.
