Physical Therapy Physical therapists are skilled professionals who enter the field with a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree. PTs must complete supervised clinical training, pass a national examination, and be accepted for licensure in Indiana. Depending on the degree sought, a PT will complete five to eight years of education.
Physical therapists work with patients of all agesfrom pediatrics to geriatricsand the diagnoses that go with those, such as cerebral palsy, developmental delay, strokes, hip replacement, orthopedic injuries, paraplegia and quadriplegia.
